Milford Sound in New Zealand had always been on my bucket list. So, as many people do, you start to tick off those adventures. Unexpectantly, it took me three tries to get there...The first try I was halfway through the nearly four-hour journey when we were informed of a mudslide through the pass and had to turn around. On the second try, a snowstorm closed the roads, but lucky on the third try I was welcomed with blue skies, snowy mountains, and awe-inspiring waterfalls. Totally worth the wait!
