The Moon, Ibis, Flamingo and The Swamp
This photo was taken a few hours before the Blood Moon in January this year at the Caroni Bird Sanctuary in Trinidad.
Visitors from around the world who have been to this location will testify that it is something to do in one's lifetime, being the easiest place to see the amazing Scarlet Ibises by the hundreds.
Within the last two years, migatory American Flamingos have taken up residence. I was fortunate to be present to capture these elements for this locally viral (via facebook) photo.
