    "Kawadi(कावडी)" What you're seeing in this photo is called Kawadi.Kawadi is a L shaped wooden object with 2 water cans at its ends.In the Palkhi/Kawadi festival,this kawadi is carried to the door of the Bhuleshwar Temple.The water cans are touched to the temple wall, then to the ground and pulled back up twice before entering the temple.After this spectacular ritual,the shiva linga is coronated with the water in those cans.Coronation (अभिषेक) is believed to be done for calming or pleasing a god
