This shot was taken on Folly Beach in South Carolina. The sunset cast a golden light over the beach and created a really neat opportunity to highlight the skimboarder's silhouette. The cool purple light from the sky's reflection gives a nice contrast to the shimmering golden sand and white sun reflection. The sunsets in Charleston are some of the best you can find and are much easier to see on the beach.
