    The Scarlet Peacock (Anartia amathea amathea) is a common denizen of the edges of the tropical rain forest and around gardens and bushes in Trinidad. I was in the forest when I saw this Scarlet Peacock dancing and flitting madly around another seemingly sedate specimen. I thought there could only be one reason.
