Oil for energy and plastic is past
This picture is featuring two opposites but currently complementary lifestyle: renewable energy from wind and renewable materials from cotton field in West Texas versus the oil extraction for both energy and plastic production.
While using oil seemed easier to produce everything we need, the high water consumption, climate, and environmental impacts makes it now not viable for a sustanabile society.
