Witnessing the Milky way in the backdrop of the abandoned Shettihalli Rosary Church, at Hassan, Karnataka, India. Not a perfect night for us, light and dust pollution, cloud cover, drizzle, yet when a small window of opportunity showed up, could not miss the beauty. Built in 1860 by the French missionaries, now abandoned church submerges every monsoon, flooded by the Hemavati river in the backdrop, presents a beautiful, near dark setting for astrophotography.
