Trees really cannot be overappreciated. They are majestic, they give us fresh air, they turn sunlight into energy. In many ways, they give us life. The sun was setting and I noticed this tree isolated from the others, so I also isolated myself from the group to take a few shots. Fun fact: Later that evening, the wind became so powerful that some of these trees fell around our tent. Not the most restful night of my life. These giants remind us that nature is a force to be reckoned with.
