Edit Photo Details Mule riding in Baja California   #mexico #culture #travel #blackanadwhite_landscape
To get to the edge of the Santa Teresa canyon, opening in the background, it takes 2 hours by car from the closest village, San Ignacio - the last hour is on dirt road - and additional 4 hours by mule this time from the remote and spartan rancho were our guide live, immersed in the harsh wilderness of the Vizcaino desert. I wondered at the simplicity of these people's lifestyle which has almost stayed the way of their ancestors: could these be the makers of the "Cueva del Raton" paintings?
