Snow Falls
I had just told the editor of the local paper I was working for that I didn't want anymore photo assignments because the job had started killing the joy of photography for me and that I needed to shoot for myself for awhile to find the joy. The next day, we had our first snow. I drove and hiked to this spot in the dark so I could catch the falls just as the sky began to brighten. I wanted to get that magical pre-dawn blue. I found the joy....And then the paper ran it on the front page.
