It was 4pm and feeding time in the Zoo Basel. Normally all sea lions in the group are very excited about the food. But one individual of them seemed somehow lost. I know, sometimes we are attaching human attributes to animals. But really, it was obvious that something was wrong with this sea lion. With bare eyes, I could not see it. But with the zoom it is visible: One eye of this sea lion was lost or hurt and already treated. This animal seemed really sad or at least exhausted.
