Up till the last couple hundred years Antarctica was completely untouched by man. The sealing era followed by the whaling era completely decimated wildlife. However, since then, time has healed. Whales are coming back and seals are exuberating the shores again. The mighty Southern Ocean keeps Antarctica clean from plastic pollution leaving wildlife to do its thing. Now a warming climate in Antarctica is causing change to the landscape throwing off the balance of this wilderness once again.
