As I was driving to one of my favorite spots to go birding, I had to turn around and pull over to get a couple of photos of these horses. Nothing special, but what caught my attention is how they looked against the stark landscape and in the reflecting pond. Two of them looked at me and I knew I was going to have a wonderful day. Often I find my side tracked stops lead me to more interesting things. It's as if they were just waiting on me to see them that cold morning.
