    This vending machine was made by the General Merchandise Co. in 1931. So, it's 88 years old. It took one penny inserted into the coin slot on his head. Then you would pull on his tongue and it would slide out with some peanuts in a small indention on the tongue. You would hold your hand under his tongue and the peanuts would fall into your hand. Collectors of this kind of thing are now willing to pay $2,000.00 to $2,600.00, or more, to buy one of these. Shot at the Rose Bowl swap meet.
