On a very cold winter day in January I was crossing a bridge and saw these gulls sitting on a pillar, trying to warm up a little bit in the last rays of sunlight. It took me quite a while to take the picture - waiting in the cold for the perfect light of the setting sun and for the gulls sitting still for a short moment.
