This is a portrait I took of an African Crowned Crane on January 2nd, 2019. This was taken with a Nikon D3200 and a Nikor 70-300mm lens. This was taken at a small zoo right outside of Seattle called Cougar Mountain Zoo. The composition of this photo really caught my eye so I had to take the shot when I did! The second after I took this photo though, the crane turned and rushed straight at me. I'm lucky there was a fence there or I would have been toast!
