Night at the springs
The night of the Orthodox New Year at around 2 am the villagers of Vevchani together with disguised bride and groom that are main characters of the Vevchanski Carnival make their way to the springs for water collection. During this festival that is older then 1400 years water need to be collected and taken back to the households so the women of the house the next day can make special bread.
