    Reported by:

On a road in the middle of Leilani estates, two volcanologists taking measurements, samples and images as part of their constant field work to record and document the various stages of the eruption and to advise any changes observed for public safety reasons. They are looking at the mighty fissure 8 cinder cone spewing lava at a rate of up to 100 cubic metres per second into a 9 mile long lava channel meandering to the ocean. The biggest eruption in Hawai'i for over 200 years.
