This lane, in Ferragudo, reflects a truly quintessential Portuguese village! The colours of these little houses are gorgeous; the cobblestoned lanes are not. Cobblestones are bone-killers, despite their romantic descriptions by travel agencies! Four straight hours of exploring along these surfaces have now left me in need of a complete skeletal transplant!
