The Red Moon Rises
It was dark, and I was without a tripod, telephoto lens, or any of the equipment one would normally need to photograph a moon like this. But, I wasn’t going to let the moment go by. Improvising, I laid down on the cold ground, stabilized my camer as best as I could with my elbows, and took as many images as I could, hoping for one to be in focus and usable. This image was the best of the lot.
