    This guy here is a Hickory Horned Devil. I learned some really cool facts about him while visiting the Tower Hill Botanical Garden in Boylston Massachusetts. For instance this caterpillar is among one of the few moth species that do not spin cocoons, they actually burrow a few inches beneath the ground. They also can grow to be 6 inches in length and although they may look scary they are harmless. I also find it very interesting that in this form they are green, and are orange in moth form.
