    Edit Photo Details Great horned owls by a fire house   #nature #wildlife #owl #great_horned_owl #great_horned_owl_and_baby #talking_with_others
I was taking photographs of birds in Big Cypress when I started talking to another photographer who had been shooting in the area. I told him we had been looking for some owls and having no luck other than hearing them. He said to go to this nearby town and on a light pole near their firehouse we will find some. Sure enough there they were. A local resident said they had taken over a osprey nest much to the osprey's chagrin. It does pay to talk to others when you are in the field.
