This is a very simple "meditation altar" in the home of someone who would, at most, call themselves a Secular Buddhist. I have begun experimenting with HDR photography, and due to the lighting in that room and from this candle, combined with the shiny material of the little Buddha and his pedestal, this was my perfect target for that session. I also liked how the simplicity of the set-up exudes tranquility and tried to capture that in my photo.
