Since moving to the outskirts of Tokyo, we have spent a lot of time exploring the high-tech landscape of the city. Last weekend, we decided to explore the more traditional side of Japan and took a train to the end of the line in Hon-Kawagoe. As we were walking through the streets, I spotted these two young ladies, dressed in traditional kimonos, walking down a side alley.
