Typical home in Konkan built on the slope of a dense hill with coconut, mango, jackfruit plantation all around. This is my relatives home. Down the hill there is a constant flowing water stream. Place is full of variety of birds like Great hornbill (VU), racket-tailed drongos etc. This is also a home of southern birdwing (troides minos) butterfly which is the larges butterfly in India. Animals like porcupine and wild boars. And in the evening most of the times you see a leopard around the home.
