    Rangkul, in the middle of a desert, at an altitude of 3,800 meters, a long way off the main roads. No running water out here, no electricity, no shops either. Cattle is key to survive in those parts. The livestock turns the scattered tufts of grass into dairy and meat, the two main components of the inhabitants' diet.
