Edit Photo Details Natural ice fortress
It is an ice pillar in Chichibu city, Saitama Prefecture. Cooled ice pillars are formed in the winter season. The ice pillar stretches without going against gravity, and the way it swells greatly in the side is like a "fortress" created by nature. I shot the whole picture from a slightly high position to give a sense of impression.
