A septuagenarian Kazakh woman in Western Mongolia was all smiles when I asked her for a photo. It is sometimes difficult to photograph women indoors in this part of Mongolia, not only because they may be naturally shy, but also because there are more people in the Ger/Yurt which makes them conscious.
