    This photo depicts bluebonnets, scientific name Lupinus texensis, the state flower of Texas, USA. During the spring, these iconic wildflowers can be seen throughout the state, whether in open fields, on the edges of highways, or in one’s garden. I shot this photo in a friend’s front yard, where the wildflowers grow in large clusters each year.
