Working and studying at a university, snow days kindles hope of a snow day. Myself, as well as children and parents, tune in to my local news station to learn the probability that I can turn off that early alarm for the morning. Local newscasters are our trusted source. A study from the Center for Climate Change Communication found that, in addition to the probability of snow, they are trusted sources of information on climate change, but don't often have the sources to educate their viewership.
