    Winter is a wonderful time to see wildlife at Sabi Sands in South Africa because the animals come out more often to look for water. The bush is dry, vast and unforgiving. In this picture, a herd of elephants are seen crossing what used to be a huge but dried up waterhole just behind the lodge that my family and I were staying at.
