Every spring we look forward to hunting morel mushrooms in my grandmas timber. While studying each step for a potential mushroom, I came upon this beautiful moss covered log. It was crisp and standing tall as if it were miniature trees in its own universe. It had just rained before we went out to the timber, we found a few mushrooms but I thought this was the true treasure of the day to see this sight.Everything has a purpose, I felt sad for the decaying tree but glad life had sprung out of it.
