Life in the bannister's grasslands.
Oin is a fatty grass of Banni grasslands of Kutch, India. A home to mora than 40 varieties of grasses, Banni is India's on of the biggest reserve of grasses. Locals have divided the grasses into two types, khari ghass (salty grass) and meethi ghass (sweet grass). The Banni buffalo grazes on all the grasses like a platter. Sometimes it grazes the sweet grass, sometimes the salty grass, and sometimes some oily grass like oin. This photo is part of the research done for the living lightly exhibit.
