Latin name *Semprevivum” is made of two words “Sempre” & “Vivum” meaning always living. It is a genus of about 40 species of flowering plants in the Crassulaceae family, commonly known as houseleeks. It grows to be around 3 inches in diameter. Since ancient times the plant has been used to treat a variety of medical conditions including fevers, ulcers and wounds.
