    "La Merced." She was a 232-foot 4-masted schooner built in 1917 during World War I. She was used for nearly 10 years in the Pacific coastal and offshore petroleum transport trade. In 1966, after many years as a floating cannery and in lay-up storage she was sold to Tony Lovric of Anacortes as a breakwater for his marina.
