    Edit Photo Details The Lone Tree   #nature #landscape #tree #longexposure #nightshot #astrophotography #milkyway #lightpainting
This was my first encounter with the Milky Way. I realised I was looking at the galaxy only after I looked at the images on my camera screen. I could see a faint glowing dust in the sky and I knew that was it! I was looking at the Milky Way. (well, the back of it) A friend was lighting this tree from the side while I shot 5 photos, stitiched later into a vertical panorama. By far, my favourite image.
