The Great Sphinx of Giza
The Sphinx is a mythical creature with a human head and lion’s body. The Great Sphinx of Giza is a limestone statue on the west bank of the Nile. Although the sphinx is one of the oldest and largest monumental sculptures in the world, it’s origins as to when and why it was constructed are still being debated among scholars. When I took this photo, the people reminded me of ants scurrying around a large wild animal.
