I was taking a hike with my parents at Shakerag after having spent an hour or so photographing a Cuckoo wasp on my grandparents porch in Sewanee Tennessee. I promised them I would actually hike with them rather than take photographs, unless I saw something like a June Beetle. Within the first five minutes I saw this Six-Spotted Tiger Beetle (Cicindela sexguttata) and I apologized to them... I never finished the hike.
