I spent several long cold days filming a vast variety of the rugged untamed landscape features that contribute to Iceland's diverse landscape mosaic because that is what I had gone there to see. After shooting glaciers, waterfalls ,fiords and geo thermal pools I was taken to this remote beach.The light and colours were pale, it was flat and apart from a gentle breeze relatively calm and quiet. It struck a completely different mood. The beach and surf line receded into soft low clouds. Serenity.
