It was Christmas eve in 2015 and it had been snowing all day. This was great as Bryce Canyon was coated with fresh snow, and the visitors had cleared out. There wasn't a soul in sight. The sky was socked in with clouds, but I was hoping for a break through. Magically, light appeared through a break on the distant rocks and hills. The snow-covered tree skeleton seemed to be resting and taking in the sight with me. One of the best Christmas eves ever.
