Our winter rains and snow in Arizona has the desert blooming like I've never seen in years. Desert mountains are green and poppies and brittle bush add the yellow. This was taken while hiking Sunset Vista trail in Picacho Peak State Park. The flowers are having their day in the sun but before long it will just be cactus standing watch in the desert.
