Marigold are hardy Annual plants and are great plant for cheering up any garden.Broadly they are 2 genuse which are referred to by the common name ; tagetes African and French marigold.Celandula includes pot Marigold.Marigold can be propagated by seeds. The plants needs about 45days to flower after seeding.It should be sown 2cm apart,1/4 potting, soil water sufficiently. Plant will appear within few days.Marigolds have pungent odor which keeps insects at bay ,but they can be bothered slugs.
