Mutya is a 6-month-old bengal tiger residing in Manila Zoo. She is still being taken care of and given lots of enrichment despite the temporary closure of the zoo due to renovations. For decades the zoo has received numerous complains and negative comments due to its "condition." Little do the citizens know that the government no longer gives funds and it is now considered a self-sustaining wildlife park with passionate staff and volunteers who help keep the zoo running and the animals healthy.
