    The ridge of Bucegi Mountains seen from the Baiului Mountains. The Bucegi Mountains of Romania are part of the Carpathian Mountains, with stunning peaks, rich flora and unique landscapes. Romanian people talk about an old special traveling route in these mountains, called “the silver belt of the world”, eight hours long and quite difficult, with a lot of ups and downs – yet at the end nobody feels tired, but relaxed and joyful.
