Lighting a Tulip
Sometimes I just like to photograph simply just the subject, in this case the tulip. By eliminating the ambient light, and controlling the power output of my strobe to hi-lite the details of the flower's petals. Also was able to drive enough light into the flower to light up the base of flower internally at the base of the stem. The lack of distractions allows me to enjoy the simple natural beauty of this flower.
