My husband was already waiting for me to finish taking photos of the 'halohalo' (mixed). It is a cold dessert in the Philippines that's consisted of crushed ice with evaporated milk and mixed ingredients (sweetened red beans, jellies, fruits, etc.). To make the halo-halo special, it's topped with ice cream and leche flan cake. We usually celebrate our homecoming to the Philippines by enjoying different Filipino foods that we missed abroad.
