As I was hiking around Boyd Hill Nature Preserve in St. Petersburg Florida, I came across this Mother Alligator with her young sunning themselves on her head and snout . When I first seen her earlier in the morning the babies were hiding in a large mound of floating grass and I could not see them. but I knew they were there, because I could hear their calls to mother. So I went on a short walk, and then returned to the Mother Alligator to find that the young had climb aboard.
