On a day when many waterfowl returned to the suburban river, there was an excitement in the air and several photographers gathered to capture the mute swan couple. This was a rare sighting on the Fox River so many people were gathering just to watch their behavior. This swan in this photo appears to be peeking from behind his feathers evocative of a showgirl. In this season of renewal, it was a blessed day to have witnessed their presence.
