    This picture was taken in January in Central Finland. I had only seen this pehomenon called hard rime in Lapland before, but this time it formed on the trees 300 miles below the Arctic Circle. I spotted this row of trees at the shore of Lake Tuomiojarvi and I took the picture from an angle to give depth to the composition.
