    "Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear - not absence of fear", Mark Twain. My dad served in World War II. He never talked about being courageous. He did what he needed to do, as many did, to serve his country and kept those memories to himself. I know he had the memories because later, with dementia, he still felt the fear and had nightmares. I can't understand how battle feels but I think my dad and others were courageous even if they didn't talk about it.
